使用紫外灯将水中有机物转化为二氧化碳,二氧化碳溶解在水中形成碳酸根离子.有机物转化前后都测量电导率,通过电导率的差值可算出增加的碳酸根含量,就可以算出水中的TOC了。

标准贮备液的制备

 

(1) 有机碳标准贮备液:称取干燥后的适量KHC8H4O4,用水稀释,一般贮备液的浓度为400mg/L碳。

 

(2) 无机碳标准贮备液:称取干燥后适量比例的碳酸钠和碳酸氢钠,用水稀释,一般贮备液的浓度为400mg/L无机碳。

储运

1.包装后的TOC分析仪应储存在相对湿度不大于80%,无腐蚀性气体且通风良好、阴凉、清洁的室内。

仪器校准

分析仪的‘仪器校准’主要包括两部分内容,一是仪器的零点校准;

二是药典里规定的仪器必须满足的系统适应性试验。这两项测试功能的进样方式都采用手动确认的模式。该部分还设有一个管路冲洗的功能,用于管路的快速清洗,此功能大大缩短了管路清洗的时间。

历史记录查询

分析仪可以自动保存最近1 年的测试数据记录(包括测试结果和完整的测试条件),超过存储范围以后,最早的测试数据会被自动覆盖。

 

保存历史记录

历史记录的保存对象包括:在线分析结果和离线分析结果。分析仪有两种存储模式,一种是自动存储;另一种是手动存储。当选择自动存储时,每次测试结束后,仪器会自动保存本次的测试结果。当选择手动存储时,每次开始测试的时候,仪器都会有提示信息,询问用户是否要保存数据。如果要保存测试结果则按“确定”键保存,如果不保存,则按“取消”键放弃保存。

 

水样中TOC的分析步骤

 

水中的有机物质的含量,以有机物中的主要元素一碳的量来表示,称为总有机碳。 TOC的测定类似于TOD的测定。在950℃的高温下,使水样中的有机物气化燃烧,生成CO2,通过红外线分析仪,测定其生成的CO2之量,即可知总有机碳量。

 

水中TOC的监测

 

我们的生活离不开水,若相当多的有机污染物存在于水中,将直接影响水体的质量,对我们的生活和生产造成危害,因此水和废水的监测,越来越引起人们的重视。其中水体中总有机碳(TOC)含量的检测,日益引起关注。它是以碳含量表示水体中有机物质总量的综合指标。TOC的测定一般采用燃烧法,此法能将水样中有机物全部氧化,可以很直接地用来表示有机物的总量。因而它被作为评价水体中有机物污染程度的一项重要参考指标。

Consumables replacement cycle

UV lamp and peristaltic pump tube can be purchased from our company. The UV lamp is a dual wavelength UV lamp of 185nm and 254nm. The peristaltic pump tube is an imported pump tube with high quality and good stability. Refer to Table 5.1 for the replacement cycle of consumables.

Preparation of standard stock solution

(1) Organic carbon standard stock solution: weigh an appropriate amount of KHC8H4O4 after drying, dilute with water, and the concentration of stock solution is 400mg/L carbon generally.

(2) Inorganic carbon standard stock solution: weigh sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate in proper proportion after drying, dilute with water, and the concentration of general stock solution is 400mg/L inorganic carbon.

storage and transportation

1. The packaged TOC analyzer shall be stored in a well ventilated, cool and clean room with a relative humidity of no more than 80%, no corrosive gas.

Instrument calibration

The instrument calibration of the analyzer mainly includes two parts: one is the zero calibration of the instrument;

History Query

The analyzer can automatically save the test data records (including test results and complete test conditions) of the last year. If the storage range is exceeded, the earliest test data will be automatically covered.

Save History

Historical records are saved for online analysis results and offline analysis results. The analyzer has two storage modes, one is automatic storage; The other is manual storage. When automatic storage is selected, the instrument will automatically save the test results after each test. When manual storage is selected, the instrument will give a prompt every time the test starts, asking the user whether to save the data. If you want to save the test results, press OK to save them. If you do not want to save them, press Cancel to discard the saving.

Analysis steps of TOC in water sample

The content of organic matter in water, expressed by the amount of one carbon, the main element in organic matter, is called total organic carbon. The determination of TOC is similar to that of TOD. Under the high temperature of 950 ℃, the organic matter in the water sample is gasified and burned to generate CO2. The total organic carbon can be known by measuring the amount of CO2 generated through the infrared analyzer.

Therefore, people pay more and more attention to the monitoring of water and wastewater. Among them, the detection of total organic carbon (TOC) content in water has attracted increasing attention. It is a comprehensive indicator of the total amount of organic matter in water body expressed by carbon content. TOC is generally determined by combustion method, which can oxidize all organic matters in the water sample and directly represent the total amount of organic matters. Therefore, it is used as an important reference index to evaluate the degree of organic pollution in water bodies.
